Madonna is in trouble for using images of Martin Luther King and Jesus to promote new album

Oh Madge.

MADONNA HAS DRAWN criticism for using images of historical figures like Martin Luther King, Nelson Mandela and, yes, Jesus to promote her new album.

The pop star is currently promoting her latest album Rebel Heart, which is scheduled to be released in March. The cover art features Madonna’s face wrapped in black rope, like so:

She has since edited several photos of iconic figures – including one of Jesus Christ – to give them the same appearance.

Warning: viewing these photos may cause Madonna to go down even further in your estimation.

A quick scroll through the replies reveals several fans pleading with Madonna to, you know, stop using dead people to promote her new album.

Other famous figures who have received the Rebel Heart treatment include Bob Marley, Marilyn Monroe and, eh, Homer Simpson.

Madonna has yet to apologise for any offence she may have caused, but did post this message to her haters:

Okay, Madonna.
